Employee Eligibility:

All full-time Waldwin Group employees are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

Dependent Eligibility:

Unmarried dependents are covered to age 19. Unmarried college students are covered to age 25 if enrolled as a full time student (12 or more credit hours per semester) in an accredited institution. Please provide Human Resources with proof of full time student status in order for claims to be processed accurately.

Changes in Enrollment Status:

EPR's "Open enrollment" will occur once a year in August. Each year you may change your coverage level, if desired, with no underwriting or pre-existing conditions. Once you have made your selection, you may not change it until the next year's open enrollment unless you have a "life changing event." Life changing events include:

  • Marriage
  • Divorce
  • Birth or adoption of a child
  • Death
  • Spouse losing insurance coverage due to change in job

In the event that you have a "life changing event", you must notify Human Resources within 30 days if you wish to change the status of your insurance coverage.
